1917-C Newfoundland 25 Cents Coin

Long before Newfoundland joined Confederation, it issued its own coinage under the reign of King George V, making this 1917-C quarter a small piece of Newfoundland’s pre-Confederation history. Struck in sterling silver (.925) with approximately 0.1734 troy oz of actual silver, this example is in approximately F-12 condition and remains in its original 2×2 holder.
