A fascinating piece of Canadian paper-money history, the 1954 series was the first Bank of Canada issue to feature the reigning monarch on every denomination from $1 to $1,000, with Queen Elizabeth II’s portrait deliberately positioned to the right to reduce wear from folding.

This attractive AU-50 Modified Portrait example bears serial EZ 4587438, with the reverse showcasing a classic western Canadian prairie landscape; please see photos for condition, centering and details.
